Had to take Agape to the vet todayyyyy, she had a piece of her shed from yesterday stuck in her eye. When I tried to help her get it out she wouldn’t let me go near it, and it wouldn’t budge at all. She spent most of her practically sleepless night dragging the side of her face against the reptile carpet in her tank. D: 

Driving with her in the passenger seat was a bit of a task, I wrapped the seat belt around her carrier twice, and just in case, I had my other hand on top of it. She was so scared when we were driving, she kept on trying to scale the walls of her carrier and i found myself talking to her the entire time. When we got to the place all of the receptionists/nurses came running up and kept on saying how beautiful she was. When it was my time with the vet he did a basic check up and man handled her the whole time. She was squeaking, hissing, squirming and just wouldn’t have it. She leaped from his arms and came running back to mine and curled up in my palm. It took a bit of time for him to get the shed out of her eye when he was handling her so I ended up letting her sit in my hand because that was the only way she would stay calm. Didn’t even have to hold her head down, she just sat perfectly still like an angel. The vet was all, “Oh she is beautiful and QUITE attached to you!” DAMN. RIGHT. No one man handles my booboo! The appointment was only 10 minutes long, 75% of that time was the vet asking me basic questions and kind of talking down to me like I didn’t know basic care for a leopard gecko (of course I would do research before owning an exotic pet i’m not stupid) and they still charged me quite a lot just to pluck something from her eye… BUT WHATEVER THEY NEED AN INCOME AND MY SWEET PRINCESS IS OKAY AND THAT’S ALL THAT MATTERS. I’M A PROUD LEOPARD GECKO MAMAAA~
